I’ve been trading The Strat since 2019 and was an early adopter of Rob Smith’s framework. My focus has always been on understanding market structure, confirmation, and risk rather than prediction.

My trading career started over 40 years ago. I was never a full time trader until the Dot Com era. In 1998 equipped with a loud janky modem and an AOL account I began trading daily. This lasted a short 2 years then back to a normal job.

Then the 2008-09 debacle happened and I was right back trading again. Although I had always kept my long term stocks and managed my own accounts the daily trading was a rush! Then I got hired to run a company so I stepped back again.

Then in 2019 I had to make more money so I turned back to daily trading. This is where I found Rob Smith and The Strat. I had tried every other technical analysis system there was. But they all felt like they were hindsight trades. The Strat spoke to me right away. The rest is all If/Then scenarios!
